Day 1: Your digital hours
“What is the impact of your avg 4-5 hours digital technology use on your life?”
We plan our careers, health and money, but four or five hours a day on a screen goes unexamined. Today isn't about guilt. It's about seeing the number.
In Castelo et al.'s 2025 trial, adults averaged about 314 minutes of smartphone time a day before the study, roughly the five hours Sanket describes. Blocking mobile internet halved it. You can't evaluate an axis of your life you never measure, and the screen-time page on your phone is the cheapest diagnostic you own.
Check-in
Optional. The same three questions as your starting point, so you can compare against yourself, not anyone else.
Saved only in this browser. You can turn check-ins off in Settings. A reflection, not a diagnosis.
If you need support
If phone or social media use is seriously affecting your sleep, studies, work or relationships, or you feel low or unsafe, please talk to a professional.
